Why Khloe Kardashian Chose to Be a Caretaker to Tristan Thompson’s Brother Amari

Khloe Kardashian is in awe of Tristan Thompson’s sibling.

Indeed, the Kardashians star detailed her bond with the NBA player’s 18-year-old brother Amari Thompson, including why she chose to be his caretaker after the death of their mom Andrea Thompson.

“Tristan’s mom and I became such good friends,” Khloe explained in the July 30 episode of her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast. “I had such a good relationship with Andrea, and I would help her with Amari medically. She would have questions, she would need connections to certain doctors and I would help with that.”

In fact, the 41-year-old—who shares kids True, 7, and Tatum, 3, with Tristan—revealed she was “involved in all of Amari’s medical appointments,” as he suffers from a severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS). According to Khloe, Andrea was the teen’s “sole caretaker” when they lived in Canada, and she wanted to provide as many resources as she could.
