Like most websites, the Site collects technical information when you visit, such as the pages you view, the site that referred you, your browser and device type and your approximate location (derived from your IP address). We use Google’s tag (Google Analytics) to understand how readers use the Site.
How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and see how the Site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s use of this data is described in its own privacy policy.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site (such as our web host and Google’s analytics service), when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and our readers.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and our records, and analytics data for the period set in our Google Analytics account.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it, by writing to us through our contact page. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local data-protection law.
