Stonewall shooting: Everything we know

At least two people were injured in a shooting outside New York City’s historic Stonewall Inn following a LGBTQ+ pride parade on Sunday.

One person was shot in the head and taken to hospital in a critical condition, according to New York broadcaster WABC.

Another person was wounded in the leg, but it is not clear whether they were shot.

New York Mayor Eric Adams wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Saddened to learn about the shooting by the Stonewall Inn tonight as Pride celebrations were winding down. During a time when our city should be rejoicing and celebrating members of our diverse LGBTQ+ community, incidents like this are devastating.”
