Mariska Hargitay Unveils Her Shortest Haircut Yet in Years
Mariska Hargitay remains a cut above the rest.
The Law and Order: Special Victims Unit star unveiled a new short hair look ahead of her Broadway debut in Every Brilliant Thing on May 26.
Sharing a joint post with hairstylist and photographer Adir Abergel on Instagram, which shows off her wavy, chin-length tresses, the hairdresser wrote, “NEW CUT FOR THE ONE AND ONLY @therealmariskahargitay BROADWAY DEBUT.”
Embracing her new stage era, Mariska commented, “Switching gears.”
While she went forward with the big chop—achieved with the use of Virtue Flourish Thickening Styling Treatment and Volumizing Primer—Mariska maintained her light brown color with subtle highlights. For the rest of her beauty routine, the My Mom Jayne director opted for a pink lip and simple eyeliner.
Although Mariska is no stranger to changing her hair up, doing so has gotten her into a bit of trouble in the past. In fact, she recently admitted that one rogue haircut nearly got her fired from Law and Order: SVU.
