These are the standards behind the newsroom articles published on The BB Report.
Sourcing
Each article starts from primary sources wherever they exist: official statements, regulatory filings, data releases and company announcements. Other reporting is credited to the outlet that published it. The sources used are listed at the end of every newsroom article so readers can check them.
Accuracy checks
Before publication, the figures, dates, names and quotations in an article are checked against the saved source pages. A claim that cannot be matched to a source is corrected or removed. An article that does not pass these checks is not published.
Bylines
Newsroom articles are published under The BB Report’s name, as the work of the publication.
Quotations
We use only words printed in a source we have read, attributed to the person who said them and to the outlet that reported them.
Politics and regulated topics
Political coverage is neutral and attributes claims to the people who made them. Our articles do not give investment, legal or medical advice.
Brand Voice
Brand Voice carries profiles and features about companies and their founders. It is kept separate from newsroom reporting and does not follow the sourcing process described above.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. Send the article link and the correction through our contact page. We review every request and correct errors in the article itself.
