Dua Lipa’s Leopard Handbag Is the Definition of Urban Jungle Style

Ah, the paradox of Dua Lipa. She is seemingly always on vacation, but we know she’s busy. She’s currently on a massive tour and planning her upcoming wedding to Callum Turner, and she has recently filmed—something—for The Devil Wears Prada 2 (maybe). And yet she also has time to be out and about in New York City, running errands in smart Upscale Officewear? Guess she runs on Pop-Star Time.

During a recent jaunt around NYC, the “Levitating” singer was spotted in a structured black Calvin Klein Collection dress fit for the boardroom of only the chicest of companies, her dark hair loose down her back and her fingers heavy with rings. She slipped on red-bottomed Louboutin peep-toes, the uniform of busy young women worldwide, and accessorized with dark sunglasses. With an iced coffee in one hand and an orange iPhone in the other, this is clearly a Business Walk.

But it’s the handbag that really takes the ensemble to another level. Dua Lipa is carrying the Margiela 5AC Tote, a leopard-print calfskin bag that’s big enough for a day’s worth of essentials but not a laptop, for running to and from meetings but not working at a coffee shop.

It says you have your own desk or your own assistant. You are hustling but not grinding in this here urban jungle. And let us not forget, as we make our way into fall: Animal. Print. Is. A. Neutral.

Now that we’ve covered that, we need to talk about the rest of the pictures from this walk, because Dua Lipa’s friend interacted with a squirrel and she took a picture of it, which delights me to no end. Celebs really are just like us!
