Chad Michael Murray Reveals His Son, 10, Name Drops Him to Chat Up Girls

Chad Michael Murray‘s kid knows he lives a Cinderella story. 

The One Tree Hill alum shared that his 10-year-old son—who he shares with wife Sarah Roemer—has learned to name-drop his dad’s name in order to get an in with the ladies. 

“I’m someone who, what a blessing to be able to make someone happy with something as simple as a photograph or an autograph,” Chad explained during a July 29 appearance on Good Morning America. “So, I take pictures with people in public all the time.”

As a result, the Freaky Friday star’s son—whose name has not been shared publicly—has picked up on the fact that his dad’s fans tend to be young women. As Chad quipped, “He knows the demographic that’s coming.”

And that knowledge has led to some embarrassing moments for the 43-year-old, who recalled one particular instance when his son used the information to chat up some girls while vacationing in Puerto Rico.
