Sean McVay’s wife Veronika takes trip away from Rams coach before Australia departure
While the Rams are preparing their trip to Australia for their regular-season opener, coach Sean McVay’s wife, Veronika, had already left the United States for another country.
This was shown by Veronika McVay’s social media posting on Monday. She shared several photos from a wedding in Mexico City, including a set of photos in which she was wearing an orange dress and posing with four other women.
It seems like the wedding was for one of Veronika’s friends. Or perhaps the newlyweds are also friends with McVay, but he couldn’t make the trip because of how close it was to the Rams’ season opener.
And one can’t blame McVay for that, as it would have been absurd for him to take time away from the team this close to the season, especially before they take a trip across the world to face a division rival.
It will be interesting to see whether Veronika also heads to Australia in the next day or so. Given how little time the team is actually spending Down Under, it might make more sense for her to stay home with their children while McVay tries to defeat the 49ers.
Sean and Veronika McVay got married in 2022, three years after they were engaged. They have two sons.
